My Story
Ruth’s father died of AIDS before she was old enough to recognize him. Her mother, who is HIV positive, earns a small amount of money by digging in a neighbor’s garden. Ruth lives with her mom at home, sleeps on a papyrus mat and eats only once a day.
Ruth is currently on New Hope’s waiting list. We are trying very hard to get more sponsors and donors so that we can add Ruth to our program and provide all her needs.
