My Story

Ritah lost her father in 2008 before she was old enough to recognize him.  Ritah, who was only one year old remained under the care of her mother who only depended on digging a small maize garden for a living.  Ritah was not going to school regularly, had no access to health care, and was sleeping in a dilapidated grass thatched hut.  She spent most days wondering door to door in search of lunch.
