Philis

My Story

Philis lost both of her parents to road accidents in 2003. They were on their way to Kampala for a business trip.  After the death of her parents, Philis went to live with her aunt who earned a very small living from selling tomatos and onions.  Her aunt lives in poverty. She has 7 children and married a jobless husband. Even though Philis' aunt sells onions and tomatos on streets, the entire family still lives in extreme poverty and have access to inadequate food and heath care.  Due to the lack of enough funds Philis would not regularly attend school. She sometimes missed extaminations because of examination fees.

Philis is now under the full care of New Hope  and dreams of becoming a nurse after school.  With your help, we can continue to provide Philis with all her nutritional, medical, and educational needs and greatly improve her quality of life.   To sponsor Philis, please click the “donate now” button below.
