Meet Pevin

My Story

After Pevin's father died of AIDS in 2008, she and her 8 other siblings lived under the care their single, HIV+ mother in the village of Sibarara, Busia. Pevin's mother earns a meager living from harvesting a small maize garden and also selling second-hand clothes in a local market. Pevin sleeps on a papyrus mat in a grass thatched hut and eats twice a day.

Her dream is to finish school and become a nurse. Currently Pevin receives some amount of support from New Hope in the form of school supplies, food, clothing, and health care.

With your help we can provide Pevin with all her nutritional, medical, and educational needs and greatly improve her quality of her life.  To sponsor Pevin, please click the “donate now” button below.
