Meet Patricia

My Story

After losing her father to HIV/AIDS in December 2008, she and her siblings were left under the care of her single mother, who is HIV positive. Her mother earns a meager living by maintaining a maize garden and selling second-hand clothes in a local market. Patricia used to sleep on a papyrus mat in a grass thatched hut and ate only twice a day.

Patricia is now under the full care of New Hope where she dreams of becoming a nurse. With your help we can continue to provide Patricia with all her nutritional, medical, and educational needs and greatly improve her quality of life.
