Meet Olivia

My Story

Although both of Olivia's parents are alive, they are separated and living with HIV/AIDS. Her father is unemployed and leads a miserable life. Before coming to New Hope Olivia had lived with her mother who earned less than fifty cents a day from the sale of charcoal. Olivia's mother was not able to afford to send her to school and, as a result, Olivia spent most of her time wandering the streets in Kyebando, Kampala. She ate only once a day and slept in a small single-room rented house.

Olivia would like to become a nurse after she finishes her studies. With your help we can continue to provide her with her basic needs as well as give her the hope of a bright future.  To sponsor Olivia, please click the “donate now” button below.
