Meet Joan

My Story

Both of Joan’s parents are HIV positive and are rarely able to find work.  Joan lived with her parents in the Nangwe slums of Busia, but rarely attended school.  She would earn money by fetching water and washing utensils for neighbors.

Joan moved to New Hope in May 2008, and wants to finish her schooling and become a nurse.

With your help we can continue to provide Joan with all her nutritional, medical and educational needs and greatly improve her quality of life.   To sponsor Joan, please click the “donate now” button below.
