Meet Geofrey

My Story

At the age of one, Geofrey lost his father to HIV/AIDS, and was left under the care of his mother, who is also living with the HIV virus.  Geofrey's mother rarely provided him with basic needs such as education and health care, and  as a result, Geofrey and his siblings rarely attended school. Instead, they spent most days fetching water and and begging for food from neighbors. Because of the family's suffering, Geofrey's elder sister got married to raise support for her mother.

Geofrey was eventually brought to New Hope and is now under New Hope's full care. He dreams of finishing his studies and becoming a doctor. With your help we can continue providing Geofrey with all his nutritional, medical and educational needs.  To sponsor Geofrey, please click the “donate now” button below.
