My Story

Although both of Brian’s parents are alive, they separated from each other and are both HIV+.   Brian’s mother is a prostitute and his father is unemployed. Before coming to New Hope, Brian was living with his grandmother, who earned less than 50 cents a day from the sale of charcoal.  Brian could not afford to go to school regularly and spent most days fetching water or wandering idly around the Arubaine slums.  Brian ate only once a day and slept in a small mud shanty.

Brian dreams of becoming a pilot.

Brian is now under the full care of New Hope. With your help we can continue to provide Brian with all his nutritional, medical and educational needs and greatly improve his quality of life.  To sponsor Brian, please click the “donate now” button below.
